How does a junior player become a member of the AJGT?
There are two ways to join the AJGT, both are found through the website. You may choose to print an application, fill it out and mail it to our office, or you may register online through a link provided under the "Memberships" tab on AJGT website. You must also fill out, for the individual wishing to join, a membership application provided under the "Memberships" tab.




What benefits does a junior player get from joining the AJGT?
With a membership to the AJGT, a junior player is eligible to compete in AJGT tournaments, both the AJGT 18 Hole Tournament Series named the "Carolina Local Series" and the AJGT 36 Hole Tournament Series throughout the Southeast. In addition, for 2010 tour members, each member receives with their paid membership a:

What tournaments is a tour member eligible for?
The guidelines for each tournament are based on what series or tour the event is listed under. All AJGT 36 Hole Tournament Series (two day events) and AJGT 18 Hole Tournament Series (one day events) are for all boys and girls ages 8-18. All ages, dates of tournaments, and cost for the events are found under the "Tournament Entry Form" tab on AJGT's Website.



How do I enter a junior player for an event?
There are two ways to enter an AJGT tournament event, both are found through AJGT's Website. Under the "Tournament Entry Form" tab you may choose to print an application, fill it out and mail it to the office, or you may register online through the "Tournament Entry Form" tab provided on AJGT's Website. If you have never registered for a tournament online, you must also fill out a membership application (located under the "Memberships" tab) for the individual who will be playing.



What are the age groups for AJGT tournaments?
The following is a normal age breakdown for AJGT events:

The AJGT 36 Hole Tournament Series offers two day events for those who are aspiring to go out and compete on their own while preparing for collegiate golf. The AJGT 18 Hole Tournament Series named the "Carolina Local Series" offers one day events, stroke play events spread out over the Southeast with limited field sizes based on availability. All of the one and two day events are played at some of the most premier golf courses in the Southeast!
