The Amateur Junior Golf Tour (AJGT) provides junior golfers the opportunity to develop and showcase their golf skills. AJGT tournaments are held at some of the finest golf courses in the Southeast.
These junior golf tournaments will attract some of the most talented junior golfers from the Southeast. Competing on the Amateur Junior Golf Tour gives junior golfers the opportunity to prepare for collegiate golf.
Junior golf is very special to our staff of golf professionals. It is with great passion that we welcome you to the Amateur Junior Golf Tour Website.
AJGT 36 Hole Tournaments Series
AJGT felt it was time to have a special series designed to be more economical while providing a PGA Tour atmosphere for the players. Players and Parents will be treated like special guests at each AJGT Tour stop. The 36 Hole Tournament Series begins in August and plays 10 events through May of each year. AJGT will host the "AJGT Tournament Of Champions" in May of each year. This is an invitational tournament for any junior tournament winner across the southeast. The entry fees will be economical due to AJGT's generous sponsors. Tournaments will be played at some of the finest courses across the Southeast.
Division of play
All players (Boys and Girls) ages 8-18. The divisions of play will be as follows:
Boys 8-9 (Front 9 Holes for competition, Back 9 Holes optional)
Boys 10-11 (18 Holes)
Boys 12-13 (18 Holes)
Boys 14-15 (18 Holes)
Boys 16-18 (18 Holes)
Girls 8-10 (Front 9 Holes for competition, Back 9 Holes optional)
Girls 11-13 (18 Holes)
Girls 14-18 (18 Holes)
Players must have their 8th birthday during the August-May season.
High School Seniors can play until August after their graduation date.
"Carolina Local Series"
AJGT 18 Hole Tournament Series
The purpose of having a local series is to provide AJGT Tour Members with local one day events to make playing more economical. The local series will be open to any AJGT Tour Member age 8-18. The divisions of play will be as follows:
Boys 8-9 (Front 9 Holes for competition, Back 9 Holes optional)
Boys 10-11 (18 Holes)
Boys 12-13 (18 Holes)
Boys 14-15 (18 Holes)
Boys 16-18 (18 Holes)
Girls 8-10 (Front 9 Holes for competition, Back 9 Holes optional)
Girls 11-13 (18 Holes)
Girls 14-18 (18 Holes)
We will have 3 seasons of play in our local series. Spring January - May Summer June - August
Fall September - December. To determined your division of play we will use your birthday at the start of each season. This will keep any player from gaining a age advantage over other players in the field. The 8-9 age division will have the option to play 18 holes, however, their competition will be for the 1st 9 holes.
